The
primary emphasis at The Village’s 44-unit assisted living program
is to continually identify the needs of our residents so we can
respond to each individual’s unique circumstances. Prevention and
early intervention are the keys to promoting our residents’ independence.
Whether it’s a little help with residents’ day-to-day routines
and activities, or facilitating a physician visit, or bringing a
home health professional by a resident’s apartment for follow-up
therapy after a hospital stay, our assisted living program focuses
on the ever changing needs of older adults. Clinical assessments
are routinely conducted to make sure residents are receiving the
appropriate care services.
In addition to providing 24-hour access to care, The Village at
Mercy Health Center’s assisted living program features full-service
dining, a broad selection of social and recreational activities,
24-hour emergency response, housekeeping services, scheduled transportation,
and a warm, friendly staff dedicated to hospitality and companionship.
